Volunteers Needed: Access to Justice Virtual Clinic on June 30

Access to Justice, the Georgia Justice Project, and the State Bar of Georgia are sponsoring record restriction clinics throughout the state. The virtual clinics begin with an educational town hall. This program provides the public with information on what record restriction is and the basic process. It is follow up a few weeks later by pairing eligible individuals with pro bono attorneys, who assist the client in cleaning up their criminal record.

The June 30 clinic is focusing on the Augusta area. Local pro bono attorneys are needed to assist with the project.  Georgia Justice Project provides training, support, and reviews case before they are assigned. CLE credit and low bono pay are available for this volunteer opportunity.
